Directions for use
Cleaning WITHOUT animals present
- Fill the system with 1-3% AgsanSol™
(10 – 30 gallon AgsanSol™ per 1000 gallon water) - Ensure for adequate air release out of the system
- Open the end of the drinking system to check if AgsanSol™ is present
- Use peroxide strips or watch for a fizzling reaction on the barn surfaces
- Touch all nipples so AgsanSol™ can enter
- Keep AgsanSol™ in the system for 24 hours; customers have left AgsanSol™ in water lines up to 30 days
- Thoroughly flush system with fresh water
- Touch all nipples again to flush AgsanSol™ out of the system
Cleaning WITH animals present
Mix AgsanSol™ with water to the following stock solution in the next table. Cleaning water lines before medications and vaccines can maximize effectiveness.
Start with a dosage of 12 ounces of AgsanSol™ per 5 gallons of stock solution. Increase the dosage with 6 oz. per 5 gallons, every 2 days, until a maximum of 30 fl. oz. AgsanSol™ is reached. Use the maximum dose for 4 days.

Corrosivity
Several cleaning agents were tested and compared for corrosiveness on iron and zinc. The results below indicate the corrosiveness after a contact time of 72 hours measured in mg/l oxidation of iron and zinc.
